Cannot allocate memory importing package.

When i try to import my project in my mac, it shows a fatal error that says cannot allocate memory. it cannot be my computer since it has 32 gb ram and the package is only 1.44 gb size. I dont know what to do right now, Im using osx yosemite and I dont know how to specifically assign more ram to a program (if thats the solution). Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.
