i recently upgraded to a newer mac, and it has mac osx 10.10.4 and an SSD.
![Specs][1]
I wanted to re-install unity (as this is a new computer) and tried the download assistant. This has always worked for me, and I was surprised to see it time out. When it was "waiting" to time out, the entire mac became unresponsive until it gave the time out error message.
I have a strong wifi signal, can download other files (through chrome, safari, app store, etc) but unity download assistant won't work.
I have checked the hosts file, and it is empty, as well as ensuring no rogue applications are running. I have ran a disk check, and everything comes back good. What could be going on?
How should I troubleshoot this? What servers does the unity download assistant need? And if this assistant oesnt work, will unity not be able to connect to the asset store / update server?
